Springfield Township Regular Trustee Meeting & Public Hearings

The Springfield Township Board of Trustees holds Regular Public Meetings at 5:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Allen Paul Room of the Township Civic Center, located at 9150 Winton Road. In addition to the Regular Meeting on August 8th, a series of Public Hearings have been scheduled: 4:00pm – Dangerous Property Hearing 4:15pm – Dangerous Property Hearing 4:45pm – Wyoming Point Road Improvement Project Equalization Hearing 5:00pm – Millbrook Subdivision Road Improvement Project Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - 4:00pm

The Springfield Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Township Administration Building, 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. The meeting is in regards to properties that have been declared dangerous and will be demolished by the Springfield Township Board of Trustees, pursuant to Section 505.86 of the Ohio Revised Code.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow the property owners and all lien holders of record to present any information they deem relevant to the Board of Trustees. After the hearing, the Board of Trustees will determine whether any reason exists not to proceed with the removal of the structures.

The properties involved are:

The meeting is in regards to properties that have been declared dangerous and will be demolished by the Springfield Township Board of Trustees, pursuant to Section 505.86 of the Ohio Revised Code.

The Board of Trustees has received landowner petitions seeking the following improvements to the following roads in Springfield Township:

Partial Curb Replacement and Pavement Resurfacing with 2 inches of new blacktop: Wyoming Point Place


Having viewed the roads and reviewed the petitions, the Board of Trustees has determined that the requested improvements are required for the public convenience and welfare and intends to proceed with the requested improvements.

A schedule of the assessments to be imposed on the landowners benefiting from the proposed improvements, approved by the County Engineer, and copies of the plans and specifications for the improvements are available for public inspection at the Office of the Township Fiscal Officer, 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays.

Written objections to the assessment will be received at the Office of the Township Fiscal Officer from any landowner affected by the assessment until August 8, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.

The Board of Trustees will hold a hearing on August 8, 2017 at 4:45 p.m. in the Allen Paul Room in the Township Administration Building located at 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, to consider any objection to the schedule of assessments. At that time, the Board may change the assessment schedule if, in its opinion, any changes are necessary to make the assessments just and equitable.
