[ARCHIVED] Registration OPEN for Kids Fire Academy

This summer, Springfield Township Fire Department is hosting a Kids Fire Academy from Tuesday June 14, 2022 – Saturday June 18, 2022 for kids ages 8-12 years old. Children participating in the Kid’s Fire Academy will learn about the daily activities of a firefighter, basic first aid & CPR, fire escape plans, proper use of a fire extinguisher, and severe weather safety. Classes are held at the fire department, located at 9150 Winton Road, and taught from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Tuesday – Friday, and 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday. Saturday’s class will include a graduation, a mini combat challenge, and lunch will be provided for all participants and family members.           

This program is open to residents of Springfield Township only. The cost is $15/child and includes a Fire Academy T-Shirt. If you have questions about the program, please contact Firefighter Ben Browe at bbrowe@springfieldtwp.org or Lt. Randy Miller rmiller@springfieldtwp.org or 513-521-7578.
