Springfield Township is proud to recognize Carmen McCane for her 178-mile run across Ohio as a member of the M.S. Run the U.S. Relay.
Carmen ran from Van Wert, OH to Cuyahoga Falls, OH in 7 days, averaging 25.4 miles per day.
M.S. Run the U.S. is an organization dedicated to helping individuals with multiple sclerosis and their families. Carmen’s mother was diagnosed with M.S. 21 years ago.
This is Carmen’s second year as part of the relay. This year she raised $13,408.84 for M.S. run the U.S.
The Springfield Township Trustees honored Carmen at the September 9 meeting with a certificate of recognition.
