This 10.3-acre park was known as the West College Hill Recreation Area when first leased by the township in 1975. In 1983, it was renamed after Howard G. Crutchfield, a former trustee of the property. An active neighborhood park located in West College Hill, amenities include a small paved parking lot, a picnic shelter, a grill, a tennis court, a basketball court, two horseshoe pits, a playground area, and two baseball fields.
